After the connection between the Humly Control Panel and your booking system it is time to configure it. In the basic set up of your HCP you will be able to edit the global settings, edit your default room settings for Humly Room Display and set the structure for your rooms and buildings. You will also learn how to create new users. This guide supports the Humly Control Panel from v 1.7.0.0.
This article will go through each the basic setup thoroughly. If you want to change your global settings later you can click "Next" for now and proceed directly to Step 5: Basic Setup Default Room Settings.
Global Settings
After the first sign in, you will have the option to edit the Global settings, in the below table you can find description of each field.

This option will allow HCP admin to change the service account, the password of the service account, the service URL, and P12 key in case of Google BS. |
Firmware |

Firmware URL |
The URL that HCP will use to check for the firmware updates. |
Firmware search location |
This option will determine if HCP will search for the firmware updates locally on the server itself, or will check online using the above URL. You will be able to user "Remote" or "Local". |
Internet access |
Choose between "Direct" or "Via Proxy". Based on your network settings, you might need to specify proxy server address to allow HCP to reach the internet and firmware download. |
Default API Token |
This is were you find the accounts API Token. |
Authentication - User |

Minimum password length |
Choose how many characters is needed for a user password. |
Authentication Type |
Specify how the users will be authenticated when booking, deleting or updating meetings from HRD devices, the options are either PIN code, or both PIN and RFID. |
PIN Length |
Set the PIN code length, options from 3 till 9 is available. |
RFID Enrollment |
Determines the different ways RFID can be enrolled and associated with a user in HCP.

Invite Authenticated User |
If this option is enabled, when a user book instant meeting from an HRD device using PIN or RFID, the meeting slot is booked in the user mailbox calendars also. |
User inactivity timeout |
Choose the time for user inactivity. You can set days, hours and minutes. |
Synchronization |

Meetings on the same day every.. |
Specify the time between sync request sent to the booking systems for the meeting in the same day. |
Meetings on the next day and onward every.. |
Specify the time between sync request sent to the booking systems for the meeting on the next day and onward every. For example, if 1 hour is selected as the default, when a user books a meeting the next day, it will be synced to HCP after one hour.

This will allow you to add customized equipment to your room, a set of default equipment is available by default. Eg. Coffee, Laserpoint. |
Logo images |
This will allow you to add a custom logotype that will be uploaded on your HRD. This is the place where you upload the image which will be managed in Default Room Settings or Room settings. |
Analytics |

Currency | If a fee is wanted for "no shows" you can choose the cost per hour. In this section you select which currency you want the fee to be in. |
Humly Reservations |
|
Enable Room Booking | To enable the Humly Room Booking users will be able to book rooms in Humly Reservations. |
Enable Desk Booking | To enable the Humly Desk Booking users will be able to book desks in Humly Reservations. |
Humly Reservations Host | Typ the host name for Humly Reservations. Read more about licenses. |
Reset HCP Service |
This will reset the setting and structure to clean installation status, all data will be deleted if reset button is used. |
Once you finished the global settings click Next.
Once done with the global settings move on to Step 5: Configure Default Room Settings
