How to use Humly connect

Humly Connect allows you to remotely access and manage your Humly Room Display from the Humly Control Panel. This is particularly useful for monitoring or performing actions without physically interacting with the display.

Humly Connect is not compatible with the Humly Booking Device.

Humly Connect is in beta version.

Requirements

  • Your device and the Humly Room Display must be on the same Local Area Network (LAN).

  • Humly Connect must be enabled in the system settings (if applicable).

How to Use Humly Connect

1. Go to monitoring page in Humly control panel and press the room name of the device you want to connect to.

2. Press the HumlyConnect tab.

3. Press Connect.

4. You will need to accept the certificate by pressing the generated link for your device.

Why is the connection insecure? - The connection to HCP becomes unsecure after using the Humly Connect function

5. A pop-up in the browser will appear. Press Advanced and then press continue to IP (unsafe).

6. You have now accepted the certificate and can close the window.

7. Remote manage of the device can now be done through Humly control panel.
