Sensors Integration - Disruptive Technologies
This guide will help you set up Humly Sense and integrate Disruptive Technologies sensors with Humly Control Panel and Humly devices.
To integrate Humly Workplace Solution with Disruptive Technologies sensor, you will need the following items
Cloud Connector Gateway
For details on installation planning and how many cloud connectors gateways are needed, please refer to the document below
Estimate Cloud Connector coverage

Complete the steps below to start using your disruptive technologies sensors with Humly.
- Complete the Cloud Connector and Sensors configurations
- Create a service account
- Configure Humly Control Panel Settings
- Troubleshooting
Complete the Cloud Connector and Sensors configurations
The first step in the sensors integration configuration is to configure and prepare your setup in the Disruptive Technologies studio.
Please check the steps on the Disruptive Technologies support page and follow the step-by-step guide.
Getting started with your first sensors
If your company already uses DT sensors, request that an administrator include you in the existing Organization. For additional information, please visit Distinguishing Between Organizations and Projects.
Create a service account
Now that you have prepared your DT configuration and claimed the sensors, the next step is to create a service account for Humly Sense integration.
1. Log in to the Disruptive Technologies studio. If you have multiple projects, start by selecting the project you want to configure. Once logged in, you should see a similar screen
2. Select the service account from the left menu under API Integrations, and create a new service account
3. Give the service account a name that you prefer, and click Add
4. Grant the service account a Project Developer role. Save the Service Account email as you will need it later.
5. Create a New Key Secret by clicking on the create icon, and the created Key details will appear. Make sure to save the Key ID and the Secret, as the secret will be shown only once.
Now you have created the service account, and you should have the following:
- Service Account email
- Key ID
- Secret
Configure Humly Control Panel Settings
After creating the service account in the previous step, you are now ready to enable the sensors integration from Humly Control Panel.
1. Navigate to your Humly Control Panel and go to the settings page
2. Check mark "Enable Sensor Integration"
3. Select Disruptive Technologies for the sensor distributor, fill in the email, key ID, and the secret you have created in the previous steps, then click save.
4. You should see a confirmation message that the credentials are saved successfully
Troubleshooting
- If you have any issues with the sensors or the cloud connectors, please check the Disruptive Technologies support page
Disruptive Technologies - Troubleshooting - I have connected a new sensor, but I can not find it in the resource settings
Ensure you click the "Refresh list here" under the resource settings - HCP and HRD are showing old sensor data
Ensure the data connectors are enabled, and there are no sync errors. If you see sync errors, ensure the integration credentials are correct in HCP settings
