You can configure Humly Booking Devices - HBDs - in phone booth mode with a motion sensor, so the device will be automatically booked when the sensor detects motion, and will be released in a few minutes when no motion is detected in the configured space.
To configure the HBD with motion sensors, follow the steps below:
- Select the resource you want to configure, and go to the resource settings
- Assign the motion sensors related to the resource
- Scroll down and enable the phone booth mode, then save
Note:
The phone booth mode works only with standalone resources (without a backend), so if you found the phone booth mode grayed out, then you are not using a standalone resource.
Standalone resources can be added from structures and can be added as any resource type.
