Please update your Humly Room Display to version 2.0 or later

Some Humly Room Displays are still running firmware older than version 2.0. They work today, but the root certificates those versions use to connect to Humly Control Panel and to Humly cloud services expire in April 2027. After that, displays on older firmware may no longer be able to connect.

Version 2.0 and later include the renewed certificates. To leave a comfortable margin, we recommend updating before the end of 2026. The update also brings the bug fixes, security updates and features released since. You can see what has changed in the Release Notes.

Check your version

Open the Monitoring view in Humly Control Panel. It shows each display together with its firmware version.

Update your displays

Updating is done from the Monitoring view in Humly Control Panel, and displays keep their settings. The steps are described in Firmware Upgrade.

Displays need to be online for the update to run.

If you are on Humly Control Panel 2.5.0 or later, you can also turn on Automatic Firmware Upgrade under Settings, Global settings, and Humly Control Panel will roll the update out for you a few displays at a time. See Automatic Firmware Upgrade.
