This article will cover the steps needed to connect HCP to Appspace
After the successful installation, the Humly Control Panel can connect to the booking system through the wizard. You can go ahead and select your booking system from the drop menu and continue with the details below for each booking system.- Select booking system
Select Appspace from the dropdown menu and click next.
- Internet Access
Select if you want Humly Control Panel to connect to Appspace via a direct connection or a proxy. If you have a proxy, you need to provide the URL, the port, and the credential if the proxy server requires this, then press Next.
Configuring internet access is only done for the on-premise Humly control panel. You will not see this step if you are running Humly Cloud.
- Login to Appspace
HCP Global Admin: This is the account which has the full permission to manage and do changed on HCP, you can select any account with a valid email address
Service URL: The field is pre-populated with the URL, do not change the URL unless you have a custom service URL from Appspace
Subject ID: copy paste the subject ID which has been created in the booking system preparation step
Refresh Token: copy paste the subject ID which has been created in the booking system preparation step
Now you click on Next.
- Extra Global Admin
In this step, you have the option to add an additional global HCP admin, the extra global admin will receive an email with the login credentials
- Humly Login Data
You will now receive the login credentials both in your wizard and in an e-mail to the global admin user account you specified in the beginning of the HCP wizard. Take note of this information. Click Next.
SSL Setup
Enter the https application port you would like to use (default 3002). Additionally, you can upload your own SSL/TLS certificate and then click "Next". If no certificate is uploaded, a unique auto generated self-signed certificate will be used.
SSL setup will be skipped for cloud based Humly control panel. The connection for our cloud is already secure and does not need to be configured.
- Pairing Key Authentication
Enter a Pairing key, which will be used to pair the HCP and the Humly Room Display in a later stage. Please remember the Pairing key and choose a key which will be easy to enter on the HRD-device. and click Next.
- Term of Service
Accept the term of services to continue.
Once done with connecting HCP to Appspace, move on to Step 4: HCP Basic Setup - Global Settings
