Highlights

Humly 2.2 brings powerful updates to your floor plan booking experience, more flexible user management, and important infrastructure improvements. In this release, you’ll find the new Floor Plan Interactive Booking, Humly Visitor Pro Outlook Add-in, QR Bookings, Q-SYS sensor integrations, and a modernized backend with MongoDB 7.28 and Meteor 3.3.2.

New Features & Enhancements

Floor Plan Interactive Booking

  • Floor Plan Interactive Booking - New standalone kiosk mode for self-service booking on touch displays with PIN authentication, idle timeout auto-reset, and optimized camera placements for portrait/landscape orientations

User Management Enhancements

  • SSO User Management - Toggle to show/hide SSO-authenticated users in user list with persistent localStorage state
  • Bulk Operations - Reset PIN/password and delete operations for multiple users simultaneously

Humly Visitor Pro - Outlook Add-in

  • Outlook Add-in - With our new extension, you can invite visitors from your list of attendees when creating an event in Microsoft Outlook. 

Humly Print Service

  • Ubuntu Linux Installer - New installer package for deploying Humly Print Service on Ubuntu Linux systems 

Infrastructure & Platform

  • MongoDB 7.28 Upgrade - Upgraded to MongoDB 7.28 for improved performance, security, and reliability 
  • Meteor 3.3.2 Upgrade - Migrated HCP and HPS packages to Meteor 3.3.2 with Node 22.18.0

Bug Fixes

Booking & Scheduling

  • Fixed issue where booking confirmation emails were not sent in certain scenarios
  • Resolved timezone calculation errors for recurring meetings
  • Fixed desk booking conflicts not being detected properly

User Interface

  • Corrected CSS class conflicts causing layout issues in user management views
  • Fixed unscoped selectors causing modal dialog conflicts
  • Resolved SVG icon color detection issues in state indicators

Authentication & Security

  • Fixed SSO logout redirect issues
  • Resolved MFA token validation edge cases
  • Corrected permission checks for Local Admin structure assignments

Integrations

  • Fixed Microsoft Graph API pagination issues for large user directories
  • Resolved Exchange EWS connection failures with specific server configurations
  • Corrected Google Calendar event sync failures for all-day events

Known issues

  • Safari Browser Authorization: Device authorization using Safari expires after one week. Additionally, Screen Approval is not supported on Safari.

  • Proxy/Google Authentication: Running on-prem HCP with proxy and Google authentication is currently not supported.

  • iOS Provisioning App: Onboarding Humly Booking Devices (HBDs) via the iOS app may fail in some instances. As a workaround, restart both the phone and the HBD device, then retry the onboarding process.

  • Multi-Day All-Day Meetings: Meetings marked as "All Day" spanning more than one day cannot be edited in Humly Reservations.

  • Morning Boot Freeze (Humly Room Display): In rare cases, Humly Room Displays may freeze on the logo screen during morning startup. A manual reboot resolves the issue.
